Job Summary
Maintain an orderly and clean work environment for all animal living, training, and turn out areas while assisting with the basic care and feeding of show animals. Follow all regulatory requirements for animal care and step into training and handling duties as needed. Work up to 28 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday, with availability for weekend and holiday caretaking assignments. This role requires active physical engagement, including frequent standing, walking outdoors, and lifting up to 50 lbs to handle large animals on command.
Required Qualifications

- Basic understanding and experience related to animal care.
- High level of concern for the welfare of animals.
- Ability to step into training and handling duties as needed.
- Must be available for weekend and/or holiday caretaking assignments as needed.
- Must be able to frequently lift/exert up to 50 lbs. of force.
- Must be able to work outdoors.
- Must be able to consistently communicate with team members using a headset/radio.
- Must be able to be on your feet frequently.
- Must be able to walk and stand regularly.
- Must be able to follow all regulatory requirements for animal care.
- Must be willing to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
