Job Summary
Oversee dog playgroups, manage behavior, and maintain cleanliness of kennels and play areas by washing dishes, mopping floors, and removing messes. Feed pets per instructions, ensure fresh water and clean bedding, and administer medication as directed. Monitor canine body language to provide a safe environment and use initiative to solve problems related to dogs in care. Communicate effectively with team members and pet parents while following strict safety protocols. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a starting pay of $14.00 per hour. Full-time staff receive medical, vision, dental, and 401k benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A flexible schedule
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous petcare/animal experience
- Love for animals
- Comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds
- An ability to stand/work upright for multiple hours at a time, in all weather types
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs and remain active throughout your shift
