Job Summary
Oversee dog playgroups, manage behavior, and ensure cleanliness of kennels and play areas by mopping floors, vacuuming hair, and washing dishes. Feed pets according to instructions, maintain fresh water and clean bedding, and administer medication per veterinary guidance. Solve on-site problems, communicate effectively with team members and pet parents, and follow strict safety protocols. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; pay starts at $12.00/hr with performance raises. Full-time staff receive medical/vision/dental plans, 401k, and discounted daycare for their own dogs.
Required Qualifications
- A flexible schedule
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous petcare/animal experience
- Love for animals
- Comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds
- An ability to stand/work upright for multiple hours at a time, in all weather types
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs and remain active throughout your shift
