Job Summary
Oversee dog playgroups by managing behavior and playtime while ensuring safety through established protocols. Maintain kennel and play area cleanliness by washing dishes, mopping floors, and removing messes. Provide daily care including feeding pets per instructions, ensuring fresh water and clean bedding, and administering medication as directed. Learn canine body language to keep dogs comfortable in kennels and groups. Solve problems related to dogs in care and communicate effectively with team members and pet parents. Required Qualifications
- A flexible schedule
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous petcare/animal experience
- Love for animals
- Comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds
- An ability to stand/work upright for multiple hours at a time, in all weather types
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs and remain active throughout your shift
