Job Summary
Oversee playgroups of dogs by managing their behavior and ensuring safe, comfortable environments in kennels and play areas. Maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the facility by washing dishes, mopping floors, vacuuming hair, and managing unpleasant messes. Provide daily care by feeding pets according to instructions, ensuring fresh water and clean bedding, and administering medication as directed. Communicate effectively with team members and pet parents while solving problems related to dogs in care. Work with initiative on a variety of tasks, maintaining safety protocols and demonstrating physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Kind, conscientious, and detail-oriented caregiver
- Flexible schedule
- Basic customer service skills
- Ability to follow established safety protocols
- Love for animals
- Comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Ability to stand/work upright for multiple hours at a time, in all weather types
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous petcare/animal experience preferred, but not required
