Job Summary
Provide feed and water to animals daily, heat check and breed sows, and process piglets through castration and tail docking. Assist with farrowing and litter care while monitoring sows and litters for health issues. Maintain sanitation via cleaning, disinfecting, and pit draining, and handle animal movements with accurate record-keeping. This full-time role averages 40-43 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a rotating weekend schedule. Christensen Farms offers a sign-on and retention bonus of $2,500 for eligible new hires.
Required Qualifications
