Job Summary
Provide feed and water daily, heat check and breed sows, and process piglets through castration, tail docking, and medication. Assist with farrowing, monitor litters for health issues, and maintain sanitation via cleaning, disinfecting, and pit draining. Handle animal movements, support weaning, and keep accurate records while adhering to biosecurity and safety protocols. This full-time role averages 40-43 hours Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a rotating weekend schedule. Reports to the Sow Farm Manager.
