Job Summary
Feed and water animals daily, heat-check and breed sows per schedule, and process piglets through castration, tail docking, and medication administration. Assist with farrowing, monitor sows and litters for health issues, and maintain sanitation via cleaning, disinfecting, and pit draining. Handle animal movements, assist with weaning, and keep accurate records while adhering to biosecurity and safety protocols. This full-time role averages 43-45 hours Monday through Friday with a rotating weekend schedule.
