Job Summary
Provide feed and water to animals daily, heat check and breed sows, and process piglets through castration, tail docking, and medication administration. Assist with farrowing, monitor sows and litters for health issues, and maintain sanitation via cleaning, disinfecting, and pit draining while handling animal movements and weaning. Adhere strictly to established protocols and biosecurity standards across all daily tasks. This full-time role averages 43-45 hours, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, reporting to the Sow Farm Manager. Join a team dedicated to swine herd health and welfare at Christensen Farms.
