Job Summary
Feed and water animals daily, perform heat checks and breed sows, and process piglets through castration, tail docking, and medication administration. Assist with farrowing, monitor sows and litters for health issues, and maintain sanitation via cleaning, disinfecting, and pit draining. Handle animal movements, assist with weaning, and keep accurate records while adhering to biosecurity and safety protocols. This full-time role averages 40-43 hours a week, Monday through Friday with a rotating weekend. Join Christensen Farms to support the Farrowing and Breeding departments in ensuring the health and well-being of the swine herd.
Required Qualifications
