Job Summary
Provide feed and water to animals daily, heat check and breed sows, and process piglets through castration and tail docking. Assist with farrowing, monitor sows and litters for health issues, and maintain sanitation via cleaning, disinfecting, and pit draining. Handle animal movements, assist with weaning, and keep accurate records while adhering to biosecurity and safety protocols. This role supports the Farrowing and Breeding departments, ensuring herd health and comfort within a physical barn environment. Join Christensen Farms for a full-time position averaging 43-45 hours, Monday through Friday with a rotating weekend schedule.
