Job Summary
Animal Care Attendant needed at Destination Pet delivering hands-on care for boarding, daycare, grooming, and related pet services. Responsibilities include keeping enclosures and play areas clean and sanitized, serving meals and water, monitoring health and happiness of pets, reporting unusual conditions to management, supervising playtime, assisting with brushing and bath time, and handling laundry for pet areas. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and be available on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have a love for animals, a calm professional demeanor, willingness to get hands dirty, and previous kennel or animal care experience is a plus; training available for newcomers.
