Job Summary
Develop and maintain a cloud-based healthcare data dashboard and back-end services using Angular on the front end and Java/NodeJS/.NET on the back end. Build and design RESTful APIs to serve structured EDI/healthcare data, integrate with internal pipelines, and ensure reliable, performant data delivery on AWS. Collaborate with data engineers to define API contracts, contribute to code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and support deployment, monitoring, and production reliability. Demonstrate strong communication, modern web development practices, and experience with Agile methodologies in a distributed team. This role requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 8+ years of software development experience with strong back-end focus (Java and/or NodeJS)
- 8+ years of experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
- Hands-on Angular experience and experience with Java and/or NodeJS back-end integration
- Experience with structured healthcare data and HIPAA compliance requirements
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub, JIRA, and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure) including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch
- Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS)
- Familiarity with C#/.NET back-end services for cross-team integration
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity; ability to obtain government security clearance
- Knowledge of healthcare EDI X.12 (e.g., 837, 834, 277) and data transformation of XML/JSON
