Job Summary
Perform fluoroscopy and image acquisition (cine) procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory according to physician orders, utilizing sound judgment in exposure factors, imaging techniques, and patient care. Gather complete documentation of all pertinent information to provide accurate and timely service. Provide personal and patient care and safety using professional judgment in accordance with written standards. Practice professional communications, appearance, conduct, punctuality, and attitude to maintain respect and confidence among physicians, patients, and coworkers. This role supports the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions in Legacy's Cardiovascular and Hybrid Labs across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of education required to obtain applicable national board certification
- Level II - 1-year of previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization
- Level II - demonstration of proficiency in the operation of Cath Lab x-ray table and equipment
- Level II - demonstration of knowledge of Cath Lab product inventory
- Level III - 2-years previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization
- Level III - demonstration of proficiency in the operation of Emanuel Cath Lab x-ray table equipment
- Level III - demonstration of knowledge of Emanuel Cath Lab product inventory
- Current applicable state licensure for Radiological Technologist (LRT)
- Current national registration in Radiography (ARRT-R)
- BLS
- ACLS
- ACLS for Level I within six months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Level I - One-year previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization
- Advanced certification (RCIS, CI, VI) - Level III
