Job Summary
Assist physicians during peripheral or neuro diagnostic and interventional procedures by performing radiographic work on various equipment in a timely manner. Provide patient care and safety within the Interventional Radiology lab environment while rotating call for emergency procedures requiring a 30-minute response time. Maintain competence across multiple radiographic systems and troubleshoot equipment quickly under high-stress conditions. Requires ARRT certification, Ohio license, and BLS. Kettering Health, a non-profit system serving southwest Ohio, prioritizes patient safety and integrated healthcare delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program
- Current certification with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology
- Possesses a current Radiologic Technologist license from the Ohio Department of Health
- BLS certification
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well with others and facilitate teamwork
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiate independent actions
- Ability to work well in high stress situations
- Ability to work closely with and anticipate the needs of the patient and physician and can trouble-shoot equipment quickly and efficiently
- Ability to tolerate long workdays and call hours
- Rotating call for emergency procedures with a 30 minute response time
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year recent hospital angiographic interventional experience
- 1 year recent hospital Angiography Technician/Interventional Radiology, or Surgical Radiology Technologist experience
