Job Summary
Angiography/Interventional Radiology Technologist needed to assist physicians during peripheral or neuro diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. Responsibilities include performing radiographic work on multiple radiographic systems, ensuring patient care and safety in the Interventional Radiology lab, and handling rotating call with a 30-minute response time for emergency procedures. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiology Program, ARRT-Diagnostic Radiology certification, an Ohio Radiologic Technologist license, and BLS certification. Preferred experience includes 1 year of recent hospital Angiographic/Interventional Radiology or Surgical Radiology Technologist experience. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, excellent communication skills, teamwork, independent judgment, ability to work under high stress, and ability to troubleshoot equipment quickly are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program
- Current ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology
- Ohio Radiologic Technologist license (from the Ohio Department of Health)
- BLS certification
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well with others and in a team
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and act independently
- Ability to work in high-stress environments
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment quickly and efficiently
- Able to tolerate long workdays and call hours
