Job Summary
Scrub, circulate, and monitor during invasive neurovascular and interventional radiology procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, aneurysm coiling, and thrombectomy. Assist neuro-interventionalists, cardiologists, and radiologists in diagnostic and interventional work across six procedural rooms. Perform additional tasks such as nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation, and port placement. Operate a 10-hour day shift Monday through Friday from 0600 to 1730, with call shifts covering overnight and weekends. Maintain ARRT or RCIS registry certification, current CPR and ACLS certification, and complete bi-annual CME credits.
Required Qualifications
- AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program
- ARRT Registry (or registry eligible)
- State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (or registry eligible)
- State Certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS)
- Current healthcare provider CPR certification
- Current ACLS
- 24 CME credits bi-annually
- Mandatory AIDS education
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of related clinical experience
- Previous cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology/electrophysiology experience
