Job Summary

Operate diagnostic equipment and perform technical angiography procedures while positioning patients, calibrating machines, and meticulously documenting findings. Prepare equipment for safety and functionality, solve imaging quality issues, and maintain daily room standards and infection control protocols. Complete clinical supply inventories, perform quality checks, and manage PACS processes. Actively participate in routine, urgent, and emergent patient testing requests, communicating with transportation, nursing, and physician offices to ensure smooth procedures. Provide patient orientation, preparation, and teaching before, during, and after tests; verify physician orders and obtain histories. Monitor radiation doses, perform image post-processing, and scrub in to assist radiologists with sterile procedures as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • One (1) experience as a Radiographer
  • BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association, upon hire
  • Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), upon hire
  • Licensed as a Medical Radiographer through the Texas Board of Medicine, upon hire
  • Registered Technologist Vascular Inteventional Rad, within 24 months or Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, within 24 months
