Anesthetist - Patewood

Formulate anesthetic plans with the anesthesiologist and administer anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. Manage emergent airway management as needed while performing special line placements, including intravenous and arterial line insertion. Document intraoperative care, vital signs, drug deliveries, and controlled substance usage on anesthesia records. Maintain technical skills in airway management, induction, blocks, and general anesthesia while acquiring knowledge of new pharmacology and modalities. Provide a safe practice environment by minimizing risks of infection, injury, and equipment failure through point-of-care testing. Variable work shifts apply; on-call rotation may be required in-house or from home.
