Anesthetist Lead - Greer

Lead CRNA at Prisma Health responsible for scheduling CRNAs across the system, stepping in to run the core OR or community facilities when the supervisor is unavailable, and coordinating with OR leadership and pharmacy to ensure safe, efficient anesthesia care. Formulates anesthetic plans with anesthesiologist, performs clinical anesthesia care, and handles line placements (IV/arterial) as needed. Documents pre-anesthesia assessments and intra-operative anesthesia care, maintains accurate records, charges, and compliance with regulations. Maintains age-specific competence in anesthesia techniques, expands knowledge of pharmacology and new techniques, and promotes a safe environment by reducing infection risk and equipment problems. Includes Point of Care testing as required by policy. This role is non-management but has senior-level responsibilities within the anesthesia team at Greer Medical Campus, Greenville Anesthesiology Department; works within Prisma Health facilities in Greenville/Greer area.
