Job Summary
Anesthesiologist to join a hospital anesthesia practice in a four-season Maine community. Schedule options include 26 weeks per year (two-on, two-off) or 13 weeks per year (one-on, three-off). Call will be 1:2 or 1:3, aligned with rotation. Practice includes a mix of case types: OB/GYN 15%, General/Urology/Ophthalmology/ENT 50%, Orthopedics 30%, Thoracic 2%, with approximately 10% hands-on work and 90% supervision. Case load totals around 2,500 per year across 5 OR suites. The incoming physician is an employee of the hospital; highly competitive salary with annual license/dues/subscriptions allowance, CME reimbursement up to $2,500, relocation assistance, and educational loan repayment available. H1-B sponsorship available if needed.

- Board Certified or board eligible
- H1-B visa candidates will be considered
- American born and trained physicians and foreign-born physicians who have completed a US residency and/or fellowship will be considered equally
- Allopathic and osteopathic physicians will be considered equally
- In-practice physicians, residents or fellows, and military-trained physicians will be considered equally
