Job Summary
Conduct inpatient anesthesia coverage including main OR and ASC, managing bread-and-butter cases while excluding cardiac and neonatal procedures. Provide OB and orthopedic services, serve as admitting, attending, or consulting physician for hospitalized patients, and accept patient referrals to support a collaborative care network. Lead quality and cost-effectiveness initiatives to improve patient outcomes within a CRNA medical direction model. Requires Monday-to-Friday call rotation with weekend and holiday coverage, post-call day off when fully staffed, and living within 30 minutes of the Anderson, Indiana hospital. Required Qualifications
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required
- Eligible for Indiana state medical licensure
- DEA registration
- Must live within 30 minutes of hospital which is located in Anderson, Indiana
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
