Job Summary
Anesthesiologist sought to join West Virginia University’s multispecialty anesthesia division (neuroanesthesia, regional & acute pain, pediatric, obstetric) with opportunities for clinical and education research, and roles in resident and fellow education leveraging a dedicated anesthesiologist-developed simulation center. The position is based at Ruby Memorial Hospital, a 700+ bed academic medical center with Level 1 trauma and Level 2 pediatric trauma centers, serving over 43,000 procedures per year, and includes participation in an expanding department focused on perioperative medicine within an academic setting in Morgantown, WV.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO (medical degree) required for physician licensure
- Board certification in Anesthesiology or eligibility
- Eligibility for medical licensure in West Virginia
- Experience or interest in multispecialty anesthesia (neuroanesthesia, regional & acute pain, pediatric, obstetric)
- Academic or teaching responsibilities including resident/fellow education and simulation-based training
