Cardiothoracic anesthesiologist needed at UPMC Altoona to provide anesthesia care for a broad variety of cases in a daylight, Monday–Friday schedule with beeper call after hours. Requires board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology and fellowship training in cardiac anesthesiology with eligibility for an unrestricted PA medical license. The department supports an academic appointment and provides opportunities for career growth, with a compensation package including a signing bonus and relocation reimbursement, plus benefits such as malpractice coverage, CME allowance, retirement savings, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology
- fellowship-trained in cardiac anesthesiology
- unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- daylight coverage, M-F 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- CRNA supervision, 2.75:1 concurrency target
- academic appointment available
