Job Summary
Provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments alongside a Pediatric Dentist. Collaborate with dental teams to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management. Focus on patients requiring more than local anesthesia, including children with dental anxiety, those with specific physical or cognitive disabilities, and young adults. Deliver high-level anesthesia care during in-office surgery days to ensure positive and impactful dental healthcare experiences. Work as a mobile anesthesiologist supporting the mission of delivering quality, affordable dental care in underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing
- PALS certification
- BLS certification
- DEA certification
- Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia
- Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
