Job Summary
Anesthesiologist position within the U.S. Army Reserve health care team. Involves providing anesthesia services in surgical settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and participating in humanitarian missions and leadership training. Requires an MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school (or eligible foreign graduates with ECFMG certification), at least one year of GME internship, completion of an anesthesiology residency, and an active medical license in the U.S. (DC/PR included) with board-eligibility. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
- Must have completed at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an anesthesiology residency
- Between 21 and 42 years of age
- U.S. citizenship
- Permanent U.S. residency
