Job Summary
Provide specialized anesthesiology services within dental practices, adapting to different clinical environments alongside a Pediatric Dentist. Collaborate with dental teams to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management, focusing on children with dental anxiety, those with specific physical or cognitive disabilities, and patients requiring intravenous deep sedation or general anesthesia. Ensure positive, impactful dental healthcare experiences for the pediatric population during office-based surgery days.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing
- PALS certification
- BLS certification
- DEA certification
- Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia
- Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
