Job Summary
Provide anesthesia services in a dental practice alongside a Pediatric Dentist during in-office surgery days for pediatric patients, including deep sedation and general anesthesia with airway management. Collaborate with the dental team to optimize patient cooperation and safety, focusing on children with dental anxiety or special needs. Roles are part-time and can be fulfilled as an independent contractor. Requires completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency and current license with certifications (PALS, BLS, DEA).
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing
- PALS certification
- BLS certification
- DEA registration
- Experience delivering anesthesia including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia
- Ability to work with dental teams including Pediatric Dentists, nurses, and surgeons
