Job Summary
Provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental pediatric practice during office-based surgery days, collaborating with Pediatric Dentists to deliver high-level anesthesia care for children and young adults, including management of airway and anesthesia modalities beyond local anesthesia (IV deep sedation and general anesthesia) for patients who may have dental anxiety or disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing
- Required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.
- Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia
- Collaborative ability to work with dental teams, including surgeons and nurses
