Job Summary
Provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice for pediatric patients during Office-Based surgery days, collaborating with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through anesthetic administration and airway management. Manage anesthesia for cases requiring more than local anesthesia (e.g., pediatric patients with dental anxiety or disabilities) in a mobile, office-based setting. Roles include part-time and independent contractor schedules, with travel as needed to support pediatric dental surgeries.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing
- PALS, BLS, DEA certifications
- Experience delivering anesthesia including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia
- Collaborative ability to work with dental teams (surgeons, nurses, other healthcare professionals)
