Job Summary
Anesthesiologist needed to support pediatric dentistry in an office-based surgical setting. Provide high-level anesthesia care for pediatric patients and young adults, collaborating with Pediatric Dentists, optimizing patient cooperation through anesthetic administration and airway management, and caring for patients requiring deeper anesthesia beyond local anesthesia (including children with dental anxiety or disabilities). Part-time, independent contractor positions available with flexible scheduling, in Shallowater, TX. Must hold an accredited Anesthesiology Residency completion and current licensure with PALS, BLS, and DEA certifications. The role emphasizes teamwork with dental teams to deliver safe, compassionate anesthesia in a dental practice environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing
- PALS, BLS, DEA certifications or equivalent
- Experience in anesthesia delivery including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia
- Ability to collaborate with dental teams including surgeons and nurses
