Job Summary
Anesthesiologist opportunity in the St. Lawrence Region of Northern New York with Rochester Regional Health. Provides anesthesia services across Canton-Potsdam, Gouverneur, and Massena Hospitals; open to experienced providers or new graduates. Responsibilities include obstetric anesthesia, placing central lines for ICU, airway management in ED/ICU, standard OR procedures including thoracic anesthesia (excluding hearts/vascular/heads/spines), and basic regional techniques. Will administer anesthesia for all ages and participate in call coverage (1:4; CRNA primary; OB calls secondary). EMR: Epic. Includes competitive base salary ($600,000) plus a 5% quality bonus, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and visa sponsorship opportunities. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are available; schedule includes regular OR hours with multi-hospital coverage in a regional health system.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of completing residency
- Ability to perform anesthesia on all ages
- Comfortable with obstetric anesthesia
- Central lines in ICU
- Airway management in ED/ICU
- Thoracic anesthesia (no hearts, vascular, heads, spines)
- Regional anesthesia
- Epic EMR
