Job Summary
Anesthesiologist opportunity with Rochester Regional Health in the St. Lawrence Region (Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Gouverneur Hospital, Massena Hospital). Open to experienced providers or new graduates (Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years). Responsibilities include anesthesia for diverse patient populations across all ages, obstetric anesthesia, central line placement, potential airway management in ED/ICU, standard OR procedures including thoracic anesthesia (excluding hearts/vascular/heads/spines), and basic regional anesthesia. Schedule includes regular OR hours with 1:4 call, Epic EMR utilization, and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. Visa sponsorship opportunities and relocation assistance available. Salary base of $600,000 plus a 5% quality bonus with comprehensive health/dental/vision, retirement plan, and tail coverage. Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of completing residency
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- Ability to perform obstetric anesthesia and central line placement
- Comfortable with ICU/ED airway management and OR procedures
- Experience with regional anesthesia and pediatric to geriatric patients
- Experience with Epic EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
- Willing to relocate to St. Lawrence Region
