Job Summary
Anesthesiologist opportunity at Berkshire Health Systems across five sites in Western Massachusetts. Join a collegial, team-based anesthesia department with 15 MDs and 21 CRNAs, supported by anesthesia technicians and a strong perioperative team. Provide anesthesia services across diverse cases including vascular, orthopedic, thoracic, OB/GYN, endoscopy, and neurosurgery (no cardiac surgery or transplants). Practice in a care-team model with opportunities for solo cases on call. On-call schedule approximately 6 calls per month, with a morning and day off after first call. Generous compensation of $580,000 annually plus a $75,000 sign-on bonus and 8 weeks of vacation. Relocation assistance available. Location highlights include the Berkshires with outdoor recreation and cultural attractions. Locations involve Pittsfield, MA with multiple sites in the community; travel within the Berkshire region to provide anesthesia services.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree or equivalent in anesthesiology
- board-certified or eligible in Anesthesiology
