Job Summary
Provide comprehensive anesthesiology services for general, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, ENT, urologic, ophthalmologic, plastic, and cardiac surgeries; GI, radiology, MRI, cath lab, and ECT procedures; perform pre-operative evaluations and intra-operative anesthesia management; manage airway, regional/local/general anesthesia, invasive monitoring; provide anesthesia support for ICU and PACU issues; respond to bedside or clinic consults; on-call coverage weeknights, weekends, and federal holidays; be available by phone within 15 minutes and on-site within 60 minutes while on call.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Active, full, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified (ABA preferred)
- AHA BLS & ACLS (current)
- DEA license
- NPI
- Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
