Job Summary
Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients in a Greenville, SC Ambulatory Surgery Center. Manage anesthesia for approximately seven patients per operating room day while partnering with dentists, nurses, and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes within a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice model. Maintain active state licensure and current BLS and AHA PALS certifications, with PALS required within six months of hire. This full-time role offers no call, no weekends, and no holidays, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in pediatric patient care within a supportive, mission-driven surgical team.
Required Qualifications
- Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients
- Active, appropriate state Anesthesiologist licensure
- Current BLS and AHA PALS certification
- PALS required within 6 months of hire
- Comfortable practicing in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and surgical environments
