Job Summary
Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients, managing approximately seven patients per OR day. Partner with dentists, nurses, and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient care while prioritizing safety, comfort, and positive outcomes in a fast-paced ASC environment. Maintain active state licensure, BLS, and AHA PALS certifications, with PALS required within six months of hire. This full-time role involves no call, no weekends, and no holidays, offering a collaborative practice setting focused on patient-centered outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients
- Active, appropriate state Anesthesiologist licensure
- Current BLS and AHA PALS certification
- PALS required within 6 months of hire
- Comfortable practicing in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and surgical environments
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and positive attitude
- Patient-centered approach focused on safety, comfort, and quality care
Desired Qualifications
- National Board Certification strongly preferred
