Job Summary
Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients in a Greenville, SC Ambulatory Surgery Center. Manage anesthesia for approximately seven patients per operating room day while partnering with dentists, nurses, and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes within a fast-paced environment. Requires active state licensure, BLS and AHA PALS certification, and experience in Anesthesia Care Team or independent practice models. Full-time schedule with no call, weekends, or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients
- Active, appropriate state Anesthesiologist licensure
- Current BLS and AHA PALS certification
- PALS required within 6 months of hire
- Comfortable practicing in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and surgical environments
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and positive attitude
- Patient-centered approach focused on safety, comfort, and quality care
Desired Qualifications
- National Board Certification strongly preferred
