Job Summary
Partner with the surgical team to provide safe, quality care for pediatric dental patients, treating approximately seven patients in a typical operating room day. Maintain appropriate state licensure, BLS certification, and AHA or equivalent PALS certification required within six months of start date. Experience working with pediatric patients is essential, while national board certification is strongly preferred. This role operates within a growing network of Ambulatory Surgery Centers specializing in dental restorative and exodontia surgery for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. The position offers a schedule with no on-call, no holidays, and no weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Anesthesiologist
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Appropriate licensing for state location
- BLS certification
- AHA or equivalent PALS certification required within 6 months of start date
Desired Qualifications
- National Board certification strongly preferred
- Comfort practicing in a wide range of anesthesia staffing models ranging from classic Anesthesia Care Team model to independent practice
