Job Summary
Anesthesiologist opportunity at Endeavor Health – NorthShore and Swedish Hospital in the Chicago area. Full-time and part-time positions available with a salary range of $425,000–$600,000+ depending on workload (FTE, call) and experience. Responsibilities include evaluating, monitoring, and supervising patient care before, during, and after surgery; delivering anesthesia and leading the Anesthesia Care Team (ACT) to ensure patient safety; participating in weekend, weekday, and holiday call; engaging in supervision/education of house staff and medical students; and opportunities for education, quality improvement, and administrative involvement. Preferred fellowship training in regional anesthesia, critical care, neuroanesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, and pain medicine. Affiliated with Endeavor Health, with academic appointment possible through the Pritzker School of Medicine at The University of Chicago; comprehensive benefits and a dynamic, academic clinical environment in Chicago and northern suburbs. Required Qualifications
- Illinois Medical License or License Pending
- completed Anesthesiology residency
- board certified/eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology
- fellowship training/experience in regional anesthesia, critical care, neuroanesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, and pain medicine
