Job Summary
Locum Anesthesiologist needed for one-week summer coverage near Montrose, VA. Start ASAP with ongoing coverage; 8-hour shifts required, 10 hours preferred; day shift; no overtime. 30 anesthesia rooms; MDs supervising CRNAs at a 1:4 MD:CRNA ratio; MDs performing own cases. Case mix includes General, Neuro, Orthopedic, OB, and Pediatric anesthesia. Epic charting system in use; VA license preferred. MDs will provide anesthesia supervision and be responsible for general anesthesia cases. Housing, car rental, gas, parking, tolls, and tail malpractice coverage provided; referral bonus offered for referrals who work 160 hours.
