Job Summary
Locum Anesthesiologist needed in Macon, GA for ongoing full-time coverage. Cases include General, Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopedic, OB, and Pediatrics with a pediatric capability considered a bonus to flex between the main hospital, ASC, and Children's Hospital. Must be board-certified or have a relevant fellowship; GA license preferred with willingness to obtain licensure. MDs supervise CRNAs in a 4:1 ratio; MDs are not doing their own cases. On-call coverage is required. Epic charting system in use. Credentialing target is 90 days. Compensation includes competitive hourly pay, housing, car rental and gas, parking, tolls, baggage fees, and tail malpractice insurance; referral bonus offered for successful referrals. Locations: Macon, GA. Hint notes indicate Full Time.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification or Fellowship Required
- GA license preferred OR license willingness
- Willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license
- Full-time ongoing availability
- Epic charting system familiarity
- MDs supervising CRNAs
- CRNA to MD ratio 4 to 1
- Pediatrics experience a bonus
- Credentialing 90 days
- On-call availability
