Job Summary
Anesthesiologist needed for day-shift locum tenens coverage at a pediatric-focused facility in Ohio. The clinician will provide comprehensive anesthesia services for a diverse case mix including Level I trauma, neonatal through adult general surgery, thoracic procedures excluding open-heart, complex orthopedic cases, and neurosurgical procedures. Responsibilities include managing ventilation and performing arterial line insertions across all ages, operating in both solo practice and supervising CRNAs with 50% hands-on involvement. Board-certified anesthesia providers are required; credentialing typically takes 60–90 days. This is an on-site assignment with no call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree or equivalent
- Board certification in Anesthesiology
- Prescriptive authority (where applicable)
- Ability to manage ventilation and arterial line insertions across neonatal to adult patients
- Experience in a mixed model of solo practice and supervision of CRNAs
- Locum tenens experience preferred
