Anesthesiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at OR in Munster, Indiana

Provide anesthesia services under a medical supervision model (1:6) during day shifts at an operating room in Munster, Indiana, with 50% hands-on MD involvement. Manage surgical case mix including general surgery, cardiac procedures via open heart team, lungs and vascular cases, limited neurological cases including weekly spine procedures, light trauma volume, and pediatric cases limited to minor ortho and ENT procedures for patients generally age 2 and older. Perform independent regional anesthesia alongside CRNAs while utilizing Epic EMR. Credentialing takes approximately 90 days, and call coverage is negotiable with occasional after-hours requirements for emergent cases such as C-sections.
