Anesthesiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at OR in Munster, Indiana

Provide anesthesia services under a medical supervision model (1:6) during day shifts at an operating room in Munster, Indiana, with 50% hands-on MD involvement. Manage surgical case mix including general surgery, dedicated open heart procedures, lung and vascular cases, limited neurological spine work, light trauma, and pediatric minor ortho and ENT cases for patients age 2 and older. Perform independent regional anesthesia alongside CRNAs while utilizing Epic EMR. Negotiable call coverage includes occasional after-hours emergent cases such as C-sections. Credentialing takes approximately 90 days, and temporary privileges are not available. This Level III Trauma Center supports a broad range of surgical specialties with organized perioperative workflows.
