Anesthesiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at OR in Munster, Indiana

Provide anesthesia services under a medical supervision model (1:6) during day shifts at an operating room in Munster, Indiana, with 50% hands-on MD involvement. Manage surgical case mix including general surgery (50-60%), cardiac procedures via a dedicated open heart team, lungs and vascular cases, limited neurological cases including weekly spine procedures, light trauma volume, and pediatric minor ortho and ENT procedures for patients age 2 and older. Perform independent regional anesthesia with CRNAs and MDs while utilizing Epic EMR. Negotiable call coverage includes occasional after-hours emergent cases such as C-sections. Credentialing takes approximately 90 days with temporary privileges not available.
