Anesthesiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at OR in Munster, Indiana

Provide anesthesia services under a medical supervision model (1:6) during day shifts at an operating room in Munster, Indiana, with 50% hands-on MD involvement. Manage surgical case mix including general surgery, cardiac procedures, lung and vascular cases, limited neurological cases, light trauma volume, and pediatric minor ortho and ENT procedures. Perform independent regional anesthesia alongside CRNAs and utilize Epic EMR. Call coverage is negotiable with occasional after-hours requirements for emergent cases such as C-sections. Credentialing takes approximately 90 days as temporary privileges are not available. This Level III Trauma Center supports a broad range of surgical specialties including open heart, lungs, and vascular procedures.
