Job Summary
Provide medical direction for comprehensive pediatric anesthesia services at this Level 1 Trauma Center, supervising certified registered nurse anesthetists across all surgical cases from neonates to older children. Oversee anesthesia care delivery and ensure quality patient safety protocols while collaborating with the anesthesia team of 9 MDs and 13 CRNAs. Maintain 100% medical direction with no hands-on patient involvement during structured day shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, plus Wednesday. Board certification and prescriptive authority are mandatory for this locum tenens assignment operating without call coverage obligations.
