Job Summary
Provide locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage at two small Florida community hospitals, managing inpatient, outpatient, and operating room assignments with 5-20 cases daily. Deliver day shift coverage from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, including beeper call rotation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM weekdays and weekend shifts. Supervise CRNAs under physician supervision models with ratios of 1-3, 1-4, or 1-5 depending on the facility, while handling OB spinals, epidurals, regional blocks, general surgery, and endoscopy procedures. Maintain flexibility with daily scheduling confirmed by surgical and anesthesia staff the day prior.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology
- Prescriptive Authority
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience
- Call Required: Yes
- Weekend shifts
- Beeper call Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Supervision of CRNAs
- MD to CRNA ratios of 1-3 or 1-4
- MD to CRNA ratios of 1-5
- Covering both facilities
- Flexibility with shift times
- Scheduling confirmed the day prior
