Job Summary
Board-certified or eligible Anesthesiologist sought for a full-time clinical practice at Valleywise Health Medical Center in the Phoenix area. The practice includes anesthesia for L&D, neonatal and general pediatric surgery, general surgery (including robotic), neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, Level I trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR. TEE equipment is available for perioperative and critical care patients. Approximately 11,000 anesthesia encounters per year with in-house call 4-5 times per month. The role involves supervising and teaching emergency medicine and surgery residents, CRNAs, student nurse anesthetists, and medical students, with opportunities to pursue university affiliations for academic appointment.
